This one is not any that I had listed yesterday (- actually two of those are rented. The first one, the little house-like one, I am on a call list for that - meaning they'll call when they set up a showing and I'll have to be there to see it.)
This one is $900/month - not furnished, I think it only includes water and sewer. This is very close to the University so it's a very busy area - to say the least. I got so freaking lost getting there, I was so late but the guy was really nice.
But I learned a few new roads so that's good. Then on the way home, I thought I took the wrong way, since I've never driven from Makiki - and after calling Jennifer and Mom, turns out I was on the right path after-all so all was well and I was home .... after an hour drive. Awful!
This is traffic. Bad traffic. I'm not sure you can get the idea from this picture, but there's a bridge of cars that I had just passed, then oncoming traffic and my traffic - all doing that 'stop and go' thing.
By the way - if you want to see the space I'm living in now....lookie here:
And tilt your head for this one:
Can you tell I take over the place while he's at work :) Where's Waldo?? I see cigarettes, my shoes, my pillow, my necklace, my purse, my laptop haha...
Love and miss you
me.

Hi Honey.... Fun, fun, fun! What did the $600 place look at, or wasn't it worth a picture? Well, the weather here is getting back to normal - below 32 degrees. Hope you find the right place, I know you will. Are you still in training?
Love you........ Dad
Hi Kristen,
Sounds like you're making a little progress in apt. hunting...at least you can locate them. Now, is to find the right one! Hard to believe that they are so small and so expensive...compared to the ones back home. But, guess you have to remember your perks..warm, sunny, beautiful, etc. It's back to winter here!!!! Hope your 1st day in your office went well. It's pretty small, too. Now, you're in the swing of things.
Have a great day!!
Love,
Patty
