Yesterday, I received Dad and Patty's care package -which included Asian sesame noodles, which is what I had for dinner yesterday - I also threw in the sweet and spicy tuna they included. It made for a good meal!! :) I also got some more noodle meals, silverware, a towel and potholder, twizzlers (yum) and....SPAM!!! Ewww!! :) Actually I still haven't tried it yet - good thing it's a small package so you don't end up wasting a whole can ;) I'll let you know how it is. Thank you SOOOO much for the package!!! Oh, and the floss and toothpaste and toothbrush - trying to tell me something??
Today I got up and went to the grocery store - and came back covered in sweat. There is no bug that goes by that grocery store :) It's only .4 mi though. I got pancake mix (hence my lunch) but realized that I do not have measuring cups or oil OR a spatula to flip them, but I managed!! :) I also got apples, celery, carrots, and seedless grapes. I got individual servings of coffee (the kind that are made like tea bags), and a mug since I don't have one....water, Vitamin Water, cookies (duh), more pancake mix, bandaids...I think that's about it?
And now the Superbowl's on and I'm feeling a nap coming on :) I have a headache (lack of caffeine I think...) and a good book and the Superbowl....still think I'll take a nap!!

Hi Kristen...we just got home from the club where we watched the game. YEAH GIANTS!! Not that we like them BUT we didn't want New England to win because they cheated!! They had roast beef, hot dogs, potato salad, veggies, spinach dip, and wings to eat. Your Dad really scarfed the wings up..haha..only kidding. Glad to hear that you got your care package. It didn't take that long. And, that you could use the things...how were the noodles? I picked one up for us to try. The spam was a joke since you said they have it on the menu. I sent you a recipe site and the background has SPAM written all over it. Your Dad is having computer problems again so he may use this computer to send you his note. Glad you got the package, which really didn’t take to long to get there. It took us longer than that to get it together and mailed!! The tooth paste and floss was what I received from my dentist earlier that day. There was room in the box, so what the heck, I stuck it in the box!!! Hope you have a wonderful week and enjoy every minute of it. Oh, by the way, I just got my computer to work again.
